Budi served as CFO/Director from 2020 to 2021 and as President Comissioner since 2022 at PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk, the largest private steel company in Indonesia. Prior to that he served as CFO/Director from 2021 to 2024 at PT Pertamedika IHC, the hospital holding company for SOE’s hospitals, and as CFO/Director from 2016 to 2019 at PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk, the largest private hospital group in Indonesia. Before that he held various leadership roles from 2005 to 2016 at Pelita Harapan Group, one of the largest private education enterprise in Indonesia part of Lippo Group, among other were Executive Director at Pelita Harapan Foundation and Vice President of External Relations and Business Development at Pelita Harapan University. He started his career with P&G Indonesia in 1998.

Budi holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Institut Teknology Bandung (ITB) and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
